I didn't choose to be an artist.It was just the most honest way to exist.
When it comes to setbacks and growth, art has always been there along the way to help process the world around. From the beginning, the world showed up differently. Richer in some places. Stranger in others. I noticed the texture underneath things, the mood inside the room before anyone spoke, the story living inside the sound, the image that hadn’t been created yet but was already there, waiting. That feeling doesn’t have an off switch.
Eventually you stop trying to turn it off and start building with it instead.
The Weird Good is a growing universe, but it’s not what you expect.
Dream art painted from a place most people only visit in sleep. Concept music that lives inside characters - real lives pressed into sound. Writings that borrow too much from the truth to be called purely fiction. None of it came from formal training. All of it came from paying close attention to a world that never looked quite the way everyone else seemed to see it.
