Westmoreland County has always held onto its stories a little more carefully than most places, and for one night, that same spirit of gathering makes room for a different kind of story – painted rather than written into the county record.

There’s a fitting kinship between that instinct and a place like the Inn at Montross – a building that started as a tavern in the 1600s, has weathered centuries of changing hands, and still keeps its door open for whoever wanders in.
