The Weird Good is an art brand created in 2020 that features original dream art, concept music projects and writings by Alexi Shumilo, an artist from Atlanta, Georgia area.
I am a self-taught artist, musician and writer. We moved to the United States from Lukashenko’s dictatorship in 1999 before things began to look rough for the small Eastern European nation. While growing up in Belarus, Ukraine and America, I began to pursue my obsessions of American pop-culture, arts, films and music. After dealing with some health problems between 2017 and 2019 and a tumor of the skull surgery that led to a cranium reconstruction surgery, I decided to return to arts, music and writing full time.

Color War
“Color War” is an abstract miniseries of 4 paintings dealing with the feelings of losing one’s homeland due to war. Inspired by the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, this hyperpersonal theme was done in 2022 and shows the agony through explosive abstract 30″x40″ paintings. Completed pieces come in floating golden frames.
